|Big Band Soloist|
|Solist with Rhythm Section|
Since recording and touring with the Woody Herman and Stan Kenton Big Bands in the 1950's, Bill has made his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. After playing the Strip for many years with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, and Tony Bennett, Bill has devoted the last decade to teaching Jazz, both in a clinic/masterclass type setting around the world - and on an individual basis in Las Vegas. In addition, he has continued to hone his own playing, as evidenced most recently by his newly released CD from 2006, entitled "It's Still Tru" (again with Carl Fontana on trombone). When he isn't working out of town, you can hear Bill playing with his Quartet around Las Vegas.
