In addition to his work in big bands as well as in small groups as a leader, Bill Trujillo is also known for his fine backup work with singers. Over the course of his illustrious career, he has worked with such greats as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Joe Williams, Sarah Vaughn, Tony Bennett, Peggy Lee and Lou Rawls. Aside from giving clinics and masterclasses, these days he most prefers leading small groups spanning a vast repertoire of jazz compositions. He can be heard most weeks playing locally in Las Vegas (check LocalMusicLive.com for locations and times!). | ||
